Celebrate the holidays with an evening of sewing, sipping, and creating! Choose from three festive projects: a holiday stocking, table runner, or star tree topper/ornament. Use our fabrics, bring your own, or incorporate fabric from a treasured garment or keepsake. We'll provide the supplies, guidance, and festive refreshments, including a special holiday beverage. Machine embroidery is available to personalize your project for an additional $25.
This self-paced event is designed for those comfortable using a sewing machine, including backstitching and sewing with different seam allowances.

ANCIENT CRAFT
Ancient Craft: Nalbinding

Go back in time! Nalbinding predates knitting by centuries, used during the Viking Age. Learn one of Europe's oldest textile techniques. Enjoy Viking-inspired refreshments while creating a sample project to take home. No experience necessary. Includes materials and tools needed to get started

NEW! Ancient Craft: Tablet Weaving
2 hours · $65 · Beginner friendly
Discover the ancient art of tablet weaving! Learn how this centuries-old technique was used to create decorative bands and trims, including during the Viking Age. In this beginner-friendly class, you'll learn to read a weaving pattern, thread and turn weaving tablets, and reproduce a tablet-woven pattern from the Oseberg Viking ship burial, dated to 834 CE. All materials are provided for use during class and to take home. No previous weaving experience is necessary!
