NEW! Alterations: Tops and Dresses

3 hours · $85 · Advanced Beginner
Learn how to alter unlined tops and dresses using darts, side seams, shoulder seams and potentially back seams. This class focuses on fit adjustments that can be made without significantly deconstructing/reconstructing the garment. Garments must have enough existing seam allowance if the student wants to let something out.

Bring up to two unlined tops or dresses. We will select one to alter in class and will work on the second, time permitting.

For sewers who know how to use a sewing machine and are familiar with backstitching and sewing various seam allowances.
